i have recently purchased a used 05 hemi 5.7L grand cherokee limited. after a week of owning it, i noticed "SERVICE ELEC BRAKE SYSYTEM" displayed where the speed odometer is and along with the picture of a car with kinda like skid marks behind it.i later learned that the picture was something to do with the traction control. this display and picture would apear at first once or twice a week

My 2021 Hemi WK2 has a recommended 10K mile oil change interval and at the end of 9600 miles the blackstone report clearly shows the oil was ready to be changed, but was not wildly over-due. This last oil change was a bit sooner, more like 8500 miles due to timing of trips to NH and Vermont.

It doesn't stay on, nor does it throw any codes. I spoke to a mechanic about it, who owns a Jeep and says that it's common for Jeeps to throw this code when you have erratic

Quite a few of the 5.7 Hemi WK owners have experienced problems with the EGR system. Symptoms are, at a minimum, erratic idle, low speed surging, and poor performance and fuel economy.
