If your bike is a 14MY then there is a knob under the seat to adjust the fuel mapping. Check your owners manual. You dont want to run the bike on "bad fuel setting". RiverRunner. Posted June 29, 2015. We rode 690's at a factory ride at a local dealer. Ktm brought in a Semi of 690's, 1190's and a 1290 I think. I too thought the low end was gutless and the front end wondered. Everyone told me the bikes if set up correctly had great low end punch and were solid on the front end.
